About me

I currently work within the NHS in a community mental health setting as a Senior Mental Health Advisor and DBT Therapist. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings over the past 14 years. This includes having worked with the Crisis Team visiting people in their own homes. Alongside this, part of my role involved working on a crisis support line, advising and supporting clients and carers in times of need.

Over the years I have worked with clients from diverse background and generations, and have experience working with a broad range of difficulties. I am someone who wants to help clients move forward but working at their own pace. I have carried out many courses some are listed below, and will continue to learn to be able to offer the best for each individual client. I am a very passionate and warm person. I am understanding with the knowledge that every life is different and we are all unique, and that we have to listen to be able to understand how someone is feeling.

I show compassion and enthusiasm in everything I do. Sharing someone journey is a privilege and being able to help clients find ways to improve their skills to navigate the world we live in. Life can be very difficult but with the help of others, we really can all have a life worth living.
