Ed Sammons

Counsellor and DBT Therapist

Alongside my work with Liminal Therapies, I also run my own independent practice, and continue to work for the NHS in a Community Mental Health Team. As a Practitioner I belong to the BACP who are my professional body. I am a ‘Registered Member’, this means that I abide by their ethical framework while working as an Integrative Therapist and that I undertake frequent continuing professional development to keep up to date with current practice while also receiving regular supervision to make sure my work is clinically safe. A copy of the commitments we make as members of the BACP while working therapeutically can be found by clicking here

Emma Brooks

Senior Mental Health Advisor & DBT Therapist

I currently work within the NHS in a community mental health setting as a Senior Mental Health Advisor and Counsellor. I have worked in a variety of mental health settings over the past 14 years. This includes having worked with the Crisis team visiting people in their own homes. Alongside this, part of my role involved working on a crisis support line, advising and supporting clients and carers in times of need.
